The real measure of a thermal storage tank is not how much water it holds, but how much usable cooling it can deliver when the system needs it.
Each FLUCON tank is engineered according to:

THERMAL AND HYDRAULIC PERFORMANCE
Engineered from the Inside Out
Poor internal flow can cause mixing, short-circuiting, and an early rise in outlet temperature, reducing the effective cooling capacity of the tank.
FLUCON develops customized diffusers, distributors, baffles, and internal partitions according to each tank's geometry and operating duty.
Where required, CFD analysis is used to evaluate internal velocity, temperature distribution, mixing, and charging and discharging behavior before fabrication.
The result: more effective use of the stored water volume and more predictable thermal performance.

Pressurized thermal storage tanks provide a project-defined chilled-water reserve during chiller interruptions, equipment restart, or controlled shutdown.

Atmospheric stratified TES tanks store cooling energy for later use, supporting load shifting and more flexible chiller plant operation.
